Additional Notes

All parts of the plant contain poisonous cyanogenic glycosides and should not be eaten raw. Cooking denatures the glycoside, otherwise symptoms of cyanide poisoning - nausea vomiting, abdominal cramps, diarrhoea,weakness and stupor.
